Suited for Success provides job skills training and interview appropriate clothing to low-income individuals from throughout Miami-Dade County. Training programs are provided on-site at our collaborating partners’ facilities. Clothing referrals are made after a client has taken our job skills training or by a case manager at one of more than 65 approved social service agencies. There is no charge to clients for training or clothing. Clothing is provided to clients by appointment only.
Breaking the cycle of poverty and maintaining employment can be very difficult. Evidence indicates that individuals in these circumstances fail to secure and retain employment for several reasons: lack of confidence on job interviews, poor self-image in the workplace, and limited resources to equip themselves with the necessities required for the job search. To achieve their goal of self-sufficiency, a support system is needed to bridge the gap between job training and gainful employment. Suited for Success provides services crucial to closing that gap.
